So... nothing happened.

As long as your steering wheel didn't start wobbling/car pulling to the side, you're fine.

I had a somewhat similar experience this past weekend. Was driving on a Country road, when all of a sudden we heard a Huge bang, of something hitting my roof. Both my wife and I duct instantly, not sure what had just happened.. There was a truck behind me but nothing else.

I got out of the car, fully expecting to see a huge dent in the roof. But nothing. Checked it closely, including the sunroof, and than the rest of the car, but absolutely no damage at all. Not even a scratch.

Can't figure out what hit us, but something big definitely did. Maybe something fell out of a tree that was lining the side of the road. Car drives fine and nothing is broken.

Go figure.

Certain Houston road pretty bad with people letting their junk fall off and cause damage or accident. Alway good to check under the car after such thing happen whenever you doing oil change.
