Default springs

i just painted 17'' rims and threw them on my 96es 300...
will the tires rub if i do a 1.8'' drop???
what springs would be the best.

Depends on the tire size your using, offset of your rims, and width of the rims. All or one of these things can effect if your going to rub or not after lowering it. Good Luck.

Those looks like painted is300 wheels.. Are they? If they are they might rub on your strut assembly if you lower 1.8".. my kosei wheels have about the same specs and when I dropped my car on coilovers i had to get spacers.

thanks.. is 300 wheels i got really bored last week and tapes them and painted them.. i have 215 55r tires for only 150 bucks basically brand new.. one rubs on strut assembly so i put a spacer on it.. so the 1.8 drop should look good:thumbup
