Default One last shot at making this car fun again.

Hey all,

I finally find myself with a forecast of free time this spring and summer and will be working on the ol clunker again. I am posting on here to look for some motivation and ideas on what to do with the car this time around.

The car has been sitting pretty for the past few years while I moved around varuious cities for work, so anything goes as I will be rebuilding from the ground up.

A few ideas I have...
-Cage it and use it on the few road courses (mid ohio, etc) around here
-Get some studded tires, rhino liner it and run it on the local dirt tracks
-Go all out on another turbo setup
-Let CL Members take the parts they need from it and scrap it

So let's say you have regained your automotive passion and have extensive resources with time and labor. What would you do with the car?

When I get started (as soon as it gets above 40 degrees here), I will post regular photo updates as I have with past projects!

Proceed to sell parts off to CL members.

Scrap.

The NOS thing is fun, my buddy did it on a rental back in the day.

It's been attempted but everyone backs out, so it is never made.

Sleeper turbo setup on my Lex 4 me. I would love to go turbo too. Or at least a nice set of headers will do versus our crappy *** cast manifolds.

Where was all of this turbo kit demand 5 years ago when I had one on mine? lol If I do go the turbo route again and sell the kit from my car it will only work on a 5 speed as the auto trans is too wide for the downpipe routing that I have used in the past.

I'm going to get the cobwebs off of this thing and get it running over the next few months, then decide on a final plan. Thanks for the suggestions.
