Default any ES300 owners care for Infiniti I30/I35

I like the Lexus ES300, what about Infiniti I30/I35?

Any ES owners consider the Infiniti before getting their ES? It seems to me the Infiniti is somewhat sportier? I think that car is somehow undervalue compares to ES. You can pick up a nice I30/35 with less miles than a ES.

Please share your input.

I actually test drove one before getting my first es. I didn't really like the body styling. If I were to go with that car i'd just go ahead and get the maxima. The es300 is a much better build. Everything feels like nicer quality stuff. The i30/35 has a cheap feel to it.

My family owned a G20 before I got my own car. It was quite a smooth ride, but we had alot of problems with ours, well after a crash we had alot of re-occuring problems with ours. As far as I'm concerned as long as my car will reach 100k mi then I am satisfied. iirc my infininty didnt make it past 60k... but it did have those crashes lol!

My old buddy had a 96 I30 and I really liked that car. He had something like 170k miles on it last I remember several years back and did absolutely no maintanance (not even spark plugs) and the thing still ran fine... Definitely nice!

A friend of mine's dad had a 1996 Infiniti I30 and I thought it looked very nice. It was black with very dark tinted windows. The I was very similar to the Maxima just like the ES is very similar to the Camry.

It's too bad Infiniti discontinued the I. Now the ES stands almost alone. The ES is the second highest selling Lexus model. Since it first debuted in 1990Lexus has sold over a million ES's worldwide.

Would I ever get an I? Probably not. I'm happy with my ES and one day I need to upgrade her.

I looked at the infiniti models b4 I bought the ES, and by far the ES was a much better choice, pound for pound, dollar for dollar.
I bet more ES owners out there take better care of there cars than most I30/I35 owners. But thats just a guess.
