Default Tailight problem: 2001 ES300

Tailight indicator is on when I have the lights on. Both brake lights and license plate lights are not working on the "trunk lid" portion. Replaced both brake lights, but to no avail. Checked the fuse, still good. Whats wrong??

He says he is not getting any light to the trunk. So it is not just the indicator.

So it cannot be the bulbs sure, LED's draw a lesser current but not enough/anything to 'kill' the lights as a whole!

To be honest OP, i am stumped! Tell us if you are in fact using LED bulbs as i i want to save myself a potential headache in the next few weeks!

Oh and that indicator i have had it on for ages, some days it wont bother coming on other days it will be there, i ignore, and yes ALL my bulbs to in fact work...

Ha...yeah this is actually my Mom's car that I'm working on while she's on vacation...so no LEDs

I'm stumped to...maybe a short or loose connection? I took apart the lining and checked all the connections but to no avail
