check/ change your ground. are you using rca's to a amp? if so, your gain may be set to high, or your rca's are crap. or they may be 2 close to your power cable.

What year is your car? Are you using a pioneer head unit, with a aftermarket amp? Or are you trying to use the stock amp? If you are using aftermarket amp, where did you hook into the cars wiring harness?

What I think he is doing is using an aftermarket radio with a factory amp. This is a very common problem. The 100% fix for it is unknown but the best solution I have seen is to ground the factory amplifier (under the passenger seat or behind glovebox depending on year) and the aftermarket radio to the same location. I have been able to solve many of the engine noise problems this way.
Probably the most reliable and most definite fix is to bypass the factory amplifier. Here's a write-up I've done in the past that may help you in your venture. This is what I actually did when I installed my Eclipse double-din into my es300 (but eventually took out, which is another story ha).

Good luck again!

when using the aftermarket harness with rca's the ground in the harness is for the factory amp ground not chassis ground .the factory radio is grounded to chassis bythe factory radio brakets, this is why when you unbolt the radio when its powered on it makes all kinds of feedbackor cuts off. solution is to ground the new radio and the harness ground to a factory bolt holding the radio. make sure you use one thats part of the factory bracing and not a speed clip!! this should solve it if not, bypass the factory amp!
