Default 2000 es300 shifting

Driving my GF lexus tonight and noticed if you slow down to a rolling stop and push the accelerator down you will sometimes get a slight hesitation before the car will take off. It shifts flawless other than that. This was the first time I have noticed this. I'm really hoping this is not a sign of transmission issues. Please help

The rpm's do not go up like it would If transmission is slipping its just like its holding for a moment while it thinks of what gear it needs

This will remedy that to some extent. but theres no getting around the fact that the slushbox is just lazy.
