I found a 2003 Lexus ES 300 with 93,000 miles.

The seller is asking $10,000. It also has Navigation. Seems too good to be true... is there a way I could take it to the Lexus dealer and ask them if anything is wrong with the car?

These questions are for the 2002 through 2004 model.

Have you had any transmission problems?

Also, is it hard to accelerate when going into traffic?

Is the Navigation easy to operate? Does it have Voice Command?

What is under the Navigation?

Where is the CD/Changer?

Is the Mark Levinson System any different from the original? Or is it barely noticeable?

Arranging a pre-buy inspection is not a rare step in the process of the purchase of a used vehicle. The seller's "policy" about pre-buy inspections will determine if there's "a way." If they refuse any pre-buy inspection, move on. You are the buyer and your needs - not their policies - should drive this deal forward.

At the very least, get the VIN of the car and purchase a CarFax/AutoCheck report. Then take the VIN to a Lexus dealership's service department and have them retrieve all Lexus shop service events for that VIN.
