Default Color code

I have a 1997 Lexus ES 300 and just scratched the bottom of my bumper and its all white. I know the color code is on the door panel but which one is for the bumper since my car is 2 tone. Is it the one that has cr/tr blah/blah2 would the bumper color be blah2? And where would be the best place to get the touch up paint for it?

Assuming your paint color is pearl white, the following are the color codes:

040 - White (base coat)
051 - Pearl (top coat)
C14 - Gunmetal/silver (bumpers & side panels)

You can get the touch-up colors at your local Lexus dealer for around $8 each.

Ahhh yes Toyota Super White (040) and Diamond White Pearl )(051) touch-up is what I use for my Diamond White Pearl Avalon and Solara. You can find these touch up paints cheaper at www.toyotaguys.com or www.toyotaparts4u.com. Supply them with the color code and or color and you will get the exact same thing. Expect to pay much less than $8 bucks if you get it from those sites listed above or your local Toyota dealer parts counter.

Good Luck!

Antique Sage Pearl touch up will not need a basecoat. If you ever see on any Toyota or Lexus offered with Diamond White Pearl (051), it's an extra cost option paint. DWP is a 3 step paint process. The rest of the other paints are premixed. Antique Sage Pearl paint code is 1B2.

Wait...you have a dark grey car and you scratched the bottom and now it's white??? i don't know how bad you scratched it, but you might be able to clean out the scratch and the white stuff by doing a good buffing job, instead of buying paint to "cover it up".

Hey Flipside, I searched those websites you listed, but had trouble finding the touch up paint. Those sites only listed Toyota model cars and didn't even list touch up paint anywhere. I need for my Taupe ES. Am I missing something there, or is there somewhere else I need to look?

Find the color code and call up ur nearest toyota dealer and ask them if they have touch up paint and that code. Thats what I did and on the bottle it says Toyota/Lexus touch up paint.

Thanks. I just took my car to my paint and body shop and they did the touch up for me. I knew my paint code, but I just couldn't find the info on the sites suggested. My paint code is 928 for the Taupe color or "Amethyst Mist Metallic", or whatever they call that color.
