Hi, I've been lurking around for a while but this is my first post. I have a pre-owned '99 ES300. When I bought the car, I only received the black master key without remote. I was under the impression that the car did not come with keyless entry. I found it weird since the car had Coach Edition leather and most of the premium features.

If I purchase a keyless remote fob on eBay, will I be able to program it to work with my car?

I realize there have been many posts about keyless remotes and programming, but none that catered to my specific question. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Its worth a try. I don't see why it wouldn't work. I have had to replace the battery in my remote and that required a reprogram. Worked fine after programming. Try it out.
