93 es300 NO HEAT
I just bought a 93 es300 it has no heat i went to change the tstat and found there was none so i put one in still no heat.I found a valve on the driver side by firewall guessing heater control valve the cable that operates it was off so i moved the valve by hand still no heat.Should i try bypassing that valve?? How can i tell if the heater core is clogged?? Please Help 20 degrees with 2 kids no heat stinks Thanks

Place the climate control into diagnostic mode. Press and hold the RECIRC/OUTSIDE air rocker switch, and the AUTO button at the same time. Then turn on the key. The climate control lights will flash 4 times, it will then flash any stored codes. (originally I thought the front/rear switches placed it into diag, but I tried this on my car and found that I was wrong.)
