Default 99 ES300, Weird Radio Issue

Hey guys I am having a really weird issue with my radio. I just picked my car up from the shop yesterday, it was misfiring and they had to change a part out on it.

Anyways, after I pick the car up I noticed that my radio was acting kinda weird. When I would turn the radio down, it would slowly fade out and never actually go all the way off, and when I would turn it up it would slowly rise up the selected volume. It was doing this on my CD's and on the AM/FM tuner.

I've found the only way to correct this problem is the turn the radio up to a high volume very fast, and then turn it back down really fast, and it will go back to operating normally. I thought I had fixed the problem for good when I did this the first time yesterday, and then it started doing it again last night.

I have the premium Pioneer system with the 6-disc changer. I'm completely stumped on this, so if you guys have any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it.

man, that sound really weird. maybe something ground? i dont know. or try this pull you stereo out, and check the plug to the volume control. but this requires pullling the stereo apart, but it is not difficult.
