Exclamation Oil in #1 cylinder on es300

Hello All,

the year of my es is: 1993
the problem: oil fouling of #1 spark plug.
I have terrible city gas mileage, when i get on the hwy my gas gauge goes back up to I beleive the actual spot. It also is running like it is missing somewhere. I put it on the code reader and got 52 or 55, but that code stopped coming up once i switched to 91+ gas. Can anyone help me with this issue?

Thanks in advance

did your valve cover gasket leak oil into that cyl?

you do a compression check? you could have valve stem seal leak or piston ring issue

what codes do you have? I know 52, but what are they?

the gauge and gas mileage part was very convoluded. I take it you have bad fuel economy. this does fit in theory with the oil leak into cyl 1.

I haven't tried the compression test as of yet,
yes very bad fuel mileage getting about 210.4 a tank.
Code 52 is knock sensor curcuit i believe.

I will get the test done and will respond once done

Thx

I went and got it checked at a local shop that did it for free.
The paper clip method also works.

it is not running correct, putting hand over tail pipe I can tell it has back pressure some where in the system. So far i did a further look at the rvc and see that it has a leak, the only plug that is getting fouled is plug 1. it feels like it is not running on all six cylinders until i get her up to 60 - 70 mph that is when she is ok. And my gas mileage is alot better on the hwy. in the city the needle drops from 3/4 to 1/2 just regular cruising (maybe FPR not working correct) any clues?
