Anti-theft security, need active immobilizer?
I am going to be travelling to the US down the West Coast. I am wondering how good is the built-in security with the ES 300 ECU features and the Sidewinder key system. Is it pretty bulletproof, or should I be using an active immobilizer i.e. a steering wheel lockbar? Should I be turning off the keyless remote (I have heard these codes are now crackable)?
