Its most likely your struts. Check to see if the strut boots are torn. If they are then most likely your struts are no good.

Same noise with mine, and it just turned out to be bushings, not struts.

Each car is different depending on age, mileage, usage, etc.

To check the struts you can bounce on the car and see how much it absorbs or how much it doesn't absorb the bounce.

If the struts appear to be ok then it could be like pjw7790.

What year's the car and how many miles on it? Was the struts ever replaced? If you have 100K+ miles then its safe to say you should have the struts replaced.

I think its time for it to be replaced. My car is a 94 with 100K on it. I'd replace all 4 as doing 2 could possibly make your car bounce oddly. Its possible that it can wear the 2 new ones faster then normal.

Get the KYB GR2. I bought mine off of ebay for about $225 (included shipping) for all 4 struts. The KYB strut part numbers for your car is 334170, 334171, 334133 and 334134. Search ebay for "KYB GR2 Camry" look for ones that will fit camry 95 - 96 V6 or if it lists all 4 part numbers above then your good to go.

Leaving it on for a couple of more weeks won't damage your car alot, but you'll feel the bumbs more and more as they wear out.

You'll want to replace the strut mounts too. Just get toyota OEM mounts. I don't have part numbers for those.

Ken

Edit:

Here's a seller on ebay $206 + $14 shipping:

KYB's are nice, I can't say anything bad about the Tocikos I ran in my ES3 though either. They handled awesome with my B&G sport suspension drop springs. Are you gonna take advantage while they are in there and replace your springs too!!!
