Amplifier
Hi There
I have got a Lexus ES 300 I am having problem with the amplifier. part No: Toyota 86280-33060.
Can some one send me the back plugs wiring diagram of this amplifier or if some will know there is an amplifier will fit straight forward .I am going to replace it with an after market one ,It;s cheaper for me I am in London and I can't find one here .

Mouchacho, What year is your es? I have a 98 and I did the bypass but only for the front and rear speakers, I then using the integrated wiring harness have left the factory sub hooked up and my stereo sounds great. but in your case, are you trying to replace the amplifier and use the factory head unit? If so , I am not too sure that will work well for you.

Your amp is under the passenger seat. You will need to run wire from your HU for each channel to the amp and then bypass it there. There is a thread on here somewhere on how to do it and which wires do what. I also think you could leave the RCA connection to your HU connected and leave the sub wires connected to the amp allowing you to still use the sub.

Hi thanks for post me some idea but I burnt the ampl when I was trying to repair it . So I need a diagram to explain me where to connect the wires in and out my after market amp I want to get..cheers to you all..

Help w/ power & ground

Following "kphu" I cut the speaker wires coming from the amp harness & connected the rear & front speaker wires directly to my new head unit. I have 3 questions
1. How will the new head unit power up?
2. Where should I run the ground coming from the new head unit?
3. Where do I connect the sub speaker wires coming from the amp harness?
Help Please.

yeah, you need to run speaker wires from your new radio to the speaker cables off of the amp.
What you want to do is cut just the speaker wires fromt he amp harness and connect them directly to your radio's speaker wires. Plug the harness back in to the stock amp, leaving the other wires intact and still functioning as is.
I have a 94 ES300 so I'm not sure if the amp harness is the same harness as yours but here's what mine look like.
This pic is from the courtesy of 92Lex and is what I used to by pass the amp.

I have done this and still get the whine when car is running but not with just switch turned I have a 98 lexus es300 and have installed radios on alot of different vehicles but never had this problem can anyone help?

I recently installed a new double din Android deck in my 98. I use the ground Loop isolators and they got rid of the wine. They work well I'm still surprised the factory amplifier works! Sounds good. All speakers work. It's just plain easier! The ground Loop isolator is were around $8 each on Amazon.
