Default timing belt

Whats up everybody. At what time did you get your timing belt done i have a 1993 with 58000 miles i figure at 60000 it should be done also should i change the water pump while i'm doing it.

The ES engine for 92-93 is a low compression engine, if the
timing belt breaks there will be no engine damage. But
ya every 100 k it should be changed. Ask yor dealer. Dont
get it done at Lexus, unless you have $$$$$$ to wast, The
engine is just like a camry. Your water pump and tensoner
should be changed also. Change all the belts because they
have to remove the engine Also check all engine seals, rear
seal and engine mounts.

Change your timing belt every 60k.

And btw, how did you manage to keep your mileage so low on a 93? I have a 92 with 130k miles. lol

Miles and Kilometers (Km) are different

Thanks guys for the info i already had the belt and pump replaced all new. I know i dont have the mileage but the car is 9 years old i just got the car from a dealer a woman was the original owner with just 58000 miles i coundn''t pass it up ithe car is in fantastic condition it pearl white with chrome factory wheels. The water pump (new) and timing belt cost me $420 with labor my friend owns a shop i figure i get it done. Thanks for the info.
