I considered those Canucks very briefly during my suspension research (found here ~post 30ish, 2nd Generation (92-96) ES300 Suspension Reference), but passed on them considering the complete lack of any reviews or testimonials. Also, any drop greater than 1.5" is going to require a camber kit; if I remember correctly the Canucks claim a 1.7" drop.
Speaking of a 1.7" drop, you might check out the Girlswin posts in that same thread.

Your stock struts will blow out quickly with lowering springs doubling your work to replace them and install new ones in a few months.
Do it right the first time and you won't regret it.

im also looking to lower my car and i feel the suspension is too soft to
how much of a drop is this, i think its right where i want to be:
any one had experience with tokico shocks, i have (on my SC300) and i thought they were fairly nice. what about on the ES?
im looking to mod my suspension fairly soon as i hear it squeaking when i go over bumps =( its also 175k old
looks like im torn between KYB and tokico, any comments on these?

Here's an earlier answer to the KYB vs Tokico vs Bilstein question:
None of these are a bad choice.
In (very short)summation, based on the data I've collected:
In (very short)summation, based on the data I've collected:
- Tokico - stiffer, sharper, "more harsh," "more sporty"
- Bilstein - not a lot of data on these for the 2nd generation. Well-established company though.
- KYB GR-2 - "the closest to stock," many reports of ride improvement without harshness, many raves/few rants on this site and others.
