does anyone know how to access the rear tails lights, so i can change the bulbs and the license plate bulb?

Im assuming you have a 96. First remove the long plastic trim piece on the top of the deck. It just unsnaps. Then remove the 4 phillips clips things and the 2 round clips at the bottom of the cover, they pry right off. Take the cover off. Then you will see I think half a dozen or so 8mm nuts holding each taillight assembly in place and you can take them out from there. The plate bulbs are 194.

Here are instructions (with pics) for a '94 but a '96 should be the same. There are 4 nuts to remove for each tail light assembly. The bulbs are 1156, 1157, and 168.
