Default Christmas is coming.. Bling Bling time! Need comments and ideas.

Christmas is coming, and so is money!
Time to mod.

I'm getting this HID kit off eBay, and spam me all you want with how much it sucks compared to retrofit, for the price of a xenondepot one I can get 3 sets of these.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/XENON...spagenameZWDVW

Anyone know if this is a bad idea??
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/STRUT...spagenameZWDVW

And I'm also getting some lowering springs, but this is where I need help. Should I go with the Eibach 1inch Pro kit? Or the H&R 1.25inch Pro Kit? Anyone have experience with either of these kits?

Still need to get my tranny in to be rebuilt

Comments and criticism welcomed.

I got the H&Rs in bout a month now, and all I can say is driving is now fun again!!
And the drop is perfect for me, gonna post some pics up soon too..

My next mod would also be the HID conversion.. Still debating on the 8000, or 10000.

Have fun on deciding!!

NOOOO Maximum 6000k
Anything above is not only illegal, but theres less light output.
Retrofit would actually give you the violet flicker of light, and looks way more classy than purple lights

The front tower strut bar doesn't do much...just makes it look nice i guess, but all it does is add weight. (I have one in my car)....you can't really feel a difference at all, and at most maybe like the placebo effect

Lots. You'll put the Eibach kit on and no one else will know you've lowered it. You may not even be able to tell. You won't go wrong with the H&R kit.

You've summed up the purchase and driving experience perfectly. With the H&Rs, combining with the Whiteline RSB and STB, my ES is so buttoned down it YEARNS for cloverleaf interchanges and curvy, twisty backroads. Who knew the ES could be so fun?

Couldn't agree more. The RSB is THE mod for this car.
And keep the HID k between 4300 and 6500.

Actually, any HID your car doesn't come stock with or retrofit is illegal.

Hmm, rear strut bar, I'm on the hunt...

Hey Rim guys, know if this will fit?

I really love the look of those Avalon rims, and I think i could just replace the Toyota center cap with my Lexus one too!

^That's why the cars are in shows and not on the road. Over 6000k is ricey on the road and dim, not to mention gay. Why would anyone want blue headlights anyway? It is must better IMO to have white headlights that have that sexy *** flicker that comes from the projectors. 4100k-6000k is the best range for output. The lower 4000k range provides optimum lighting performance.

And that's a perfect demonstration of the two worlds of HID enthusiasts. Some buy for the look (i.e. how it looks on the car, how it makes the car look) while some buy for the lighting performance. To bring it back on topic, you'll have to put the HID kit on your Christmas list that best fits with where you are on that spectrum.

I'd go with the H&R springs, TRD or Whiteline Rear Sway bar and New Struts all around. KYB or the Tokico. Don't leave the factory struts

i have eibachs and i dont like them. Can't even tell it's dropped from the outside but you can definitely feel it when you go over potholes. Such a rough ride. Go with H&Rs or something with more aggresive drop.

The ebay strut bar is not that solid. I have one and i think it's a waste of money unless you just want the look. I had a OBX one for my 2k maxima and it was much beefier and i can definitely tell a difference when i was driving.

As for HIDs, my 7000k seems like it's just for show. Barely brighter than regular halogen. When they blow, im gonna go with 4100k!

I'm not trying to be negative on every mod but it's just how i feel after owning them for awhile.
