Leaking water pump?
the toyota said they found that i had a leak in my water pump. i havent noticed any water and my engine hasnt been hot.
they said it would cost 800 to fix because they had to remove all the pulleys to access it. they also said that unless my coolant drops or my engine temp is high then they said it will be fine.
what do u guys think

If there is a leak in your water pump, it must be very small. If it was my car, I'd just keep a close eye on the coolant level and the temp gauge for a while to see what happens. If you do decide to replace the pump, be sure to get your timing belt done at the same time. The labor charge to have both done at once should not be any more than to have just the water pump replaced.
