Default JDM City Lights Mod!

So, i got really bored this afternoon, since school has just started!

Anyways, this mod is pretty simple.
The JDM Es300's don't have a plastic reflector lens and housing in the orange strip beneath the turn signals.
The bulb holder for a 194 bulb is there, but has a little plastic cover, which you can simply remove by pulling it out. Then just pop in a 194 bulb. Yay!
However, i noticed that there was a gray plastic housing for the reflector, so i had to somehow remove that. The best way would be to bake your lights in the oven at 225 degrees F and remove the gray plastic piece. I actually prefer to keep the orange reflector piece in there, or else it would look ricey.
Anyways, I didn't want to open up my headlights, so i just took a drill and drilled a large hole in the plastic piece, so that the light could shine through.
The only thing about doing this is that the little plastic shavings from the drilling will goo all over your houseing, and will find its way onto the lens
even after vacuming the headlight, i found 2 small plastic shavings on the front of my headlight lens
If you really want to do this mod, i suggest baking the headlight and taking it apart...there is no way to avoid those little shavings.
Anyways, here are the pics!

Question

Do the "city lights" run constantly, only with the parking lights, or only with the headlights?

City lights are on whenever the turn signal lights (parking lights) are on..
So, the first click and second click on the light control stalk. They don't blink when you signal though

yes, you can get them to blink. my brother and i have already done this. there is a writeup or something like that my brother did i believe. all you have to do is switch around the wiring pins and it should work fine. at least you can get the blinkers to work.
goodluck

No, the blinkers (sidemarkers) work. The city lights do not blink, as in the JDM ones.
