Does anyone know the bulb number for that little map light that is near the rear view mirror?

I think that you'd be better off calling Lexus, or see if there's a listing for that bulb in your owners manual. Best of all, pull out the bulb and bring it to an auto supply store.

Once you find out which bulb it is, do an LED conversion and share with the rest of us

All the guy was trying to find out was the bulb #.....NOT to do a conversion to LED's!

Just use a 5W fuse type bulb. Screw the bulb # The owners manual will tell you the #

it says its a 2040 I think but when you look at the 2040 it lkooks nothing like it,I have to replace mine and I took it down to Autozone and couldn't find one that matched

mine were 1895.

They look like a small verison of the standard 1156 turn signal bulb. I replaced mine with Polarg Xtra White (M-17 I think) versions to match the PIAA puddle Xtreme White puddle lights and dome light.
