'05 eyes to '02?
Hi guys,
I'm planning to change my ES'02 eyes to the projector ones because I want more clear lightning. However, I can't find any thread about it. So, my best bet it just ask for anyone out there who knows about it.
My question are:
Will the new model headlamps fit in perfectly to the '02? If it does, how about the ballast and all of the lightning stuff? (Mine is already HID, I believe I use D2S bulbs.) So, if I install the new model, can I use the same ballast and the same bulbs?
Thank you in advance!
-mike.

The newer projector style headlights on the es330 (05-06) will not be a direct replacement for the reflector-type 02-05 es300 headlights. You would need to change the front bumper, grille, and fogs in order for the headlights to fit.

DO THE RETRO!!!
You asked about this before. It will be way less hassle and less work than you think. If fear is the problem, Have someone reputable retrofit your headlights. Do some research and dive in. Once you go HID, halogen will look like flashlights.

The problem with retrofitting is that the oem reflectors are Soo large
The Infinity Q 45 with 5 projectors would fit perfectly though
(Someone on here did that retro but i forgot who)

Yeah, thats absolutely correct. I'm afraid I can't do it myself because I have no idea how to do it. I already try to find any DIY thread of ES300 retro fit, but there is no one. Actually there is one person who give personal message offering me the retro fitting, but he just disappeared suddenly. He never reply my message since then. I don't know why but, it makes me wonder: can I trust people who come and offer the retro job through email and online stuff. what do you guys think?

oow really?! Doesn't the 05-06 model are the same with 02-05? Jeez. you know what, I can hardly tell the different (e.g body and size of the car). For me, they all look identical, just different in the headlights and taillights models. wow. I guess I'm too newbee for all this autmotive stuff, huh? shame on me. thanks for the info, btw.

Instead of gambling with your own headlights, buy another set. If they turn out good, sell the unaltered ones.

Well, I did the research myself online, gathered my information, not to mention some courage, and did my own retrofit on my headlights. They turned out great. Fear is your worst enemy.
