XM Antenna Location
I'm going to put an XM unit in my ES 330 this weekend. In all of my other cars I put the antenna on the back shelf inside the car as far back as possible close to the window. I hate seeing that thing stuck onto the body with wires under the weatherstrip. Any problems mounting it there? In other words, is there some crazy funky coating on the window that will block the signal to the antenna? Thanks!

WOW! Can't believe I spelled that wrong! I still have all of those cars. The ES 330 is the Girlfriends. I just finished putting in the XM in today, works great. I put the antenna on the rear parcel shelf. No way am I putting that big hockey puck on the side of the trunk, looks horrible! I am a major gear head so I like my cars, single guy (not single anymore) with three cars, kinda crazy but I love it. The M3 has a few mods suspension, intake etc. The GN has a lot of mods that are tastefully done, reversible and are not noticeable. I'm around 480-500 hp on it right now at 24 psi. The SS is stock, just has wheels and a nice sound system. I like the ES 330, smooth and comfy.
