Are my struts need to replaced?
Hi,
I just replace my 2 front strut mounts. When working in there, I checked my struts: There is no leak. The ride still OK. The only problem is when press the struts all the way down ( compress it. ) It takes a long time, a bout a minute, for the strut return to it normal position. Is that indicate that the struts need to replaced?
The ride still OK now ( or I get used to it? ) but if it indicate that the struts are worn out, replace it now will save me another alignment cost.
Thaks,

I just trounce on each corner of my vehicles to make the car bounce. If the shock/strut is bad it will keep on bouncing after you stop trouncing on it. A good shock/strut will rebound back up and stop when you stop.
