Lightbulb Slow Windows!

I have a '93 ES 300, and it seems when I roll the windows up or down it goes kinda slow. Slower up than down though! What can I do to fix this? New motors? Some kind of window lubricant?

I noticed that just my passanger window goes up slower than all my ohter windows. I did rip open the door and sprayed some slick50 lube on the slides but it did not help. Next I may try the moter.

all of them are slow on mine. It seems like the battery is going dead but I know is not.

Any help? hints?

Perhaps ask your local dealer and see what they say.

the motor is either warn or the steel cabling is frayed or it could be the regulator.

Mine went slow then after a few months they died.. both front have gone.

If you ever get stuck just take the door panel off and un plug the regulator whilst holding the window and then just push the window up, plug the regulator back in and the motor will hold the window up.

To replace you will have to buy the whole unit.. including regulator.

I may be wrong.. but this is just past experience.

Default passenger window slower

i have the same problem (is it even a problem?)...if it is this common, perhaps that's how lexus wanted them to operate. Also yes, the pass window is much slower than the driver

Yep, mine as well. Even after I put in a brand new regulator. I powered up and down with the motor disconnected and the motor definately just moves slower in the up direction. I assume since those years have the crappy 80amp alternator, an upgrade may alleviate the problem.
