HELP, need advice on pulling a motor on a 92 es300!
so the oil float in my es300 spontaniously busted while on the freeway, pretty much completely clogging my oil pick up screen that was akready dirty from previous owners. caused it to eat up the #2 bearing to the point there was hardly any left. and it over heated the rest of the bearing. so i ordered another motor and it should be in next week and now im pulling the one in my car this week. any advice as to a first timer. ive pulled motors before just not in a lexus.
any thing i should know??? is it easier to pull motor and tranny together??? pull seperate?? hard to get to stuff that nees to be dealt with??? any help would be great sinc ei dont want to spend unecessary time or money. thanks everyone

Pull them both.
Rebuild the new engine while it's out of the car. New gasket kit, and change the head gaskets to Victor Nitroseals.
Nothing 2 know about it. Port & polish the heads & do a valve job while the heads are off.
