Bummer. Based on their website, it looks like the Maya STM only comes in 22". Darn. I really like the looks but can't go higher than an 18".

I like the Work Euroline XRs for sure. That is my current hunt for the lowest price for an 18x7.5!

I'll of course hit up our friends at D2 first.

Lightbulb Ah Ha!!!

After a couple of ~$2k Work Euroline XR quotes and completely disheartened about this purchase, I decided just to look and see what OEM replacement wheels are out there.

I found this:

Shocking. I didn't know this wheel existed for the ES. They claim it's a "replacement alloy wheel for 1995-1995."

So here is why it surprised me to find it. NOW I see why so many CL'ers have a h4rd-on for this wheel design:
..and on and on and on.

I think someone even posted them a while back in this thread but the link is now broken.

Folks just seem to love this wheel style and the stock one kinda shows me how they got there finally.

Talking This could be it...

About to pull the trigger:

The 5Zigen Sports Engine SC3000s (18x7.5 in Hypersilver) with 225/40/18 Kuhmo Ecsta tires.
The wheel has everything I described that I want.
The wheel/tire package price is awesome. I've not been able to beat it on any other site.
The WheelsNext deal page. Thanks to Maxx941 for the wheel shopping site suggestions!!

Gonna finish comparing deals on a few more sites and then do this!

Any last minute comments/positives/negatives/affirmations/detractions to help a CL brutha out here?

Pulled the trigger. My local Discount Tire guy matched the deal, of course; they usually will.

They'll be here on Friday. Now if only my Whiteline suspension pieces would get here too.

The 5Zigens are ON!
The Kuhmo Ecstas are ON!
The subsequent, badly needed alignment will happen in 1.5 hours.
What a difference! It's SO different compared to the 15s I've had on forever, it's kinda freakin' me out.

I will get some pics this weekend.

Talking The Results!!! Not for 56.k!!

I couldn't wait any longer on the suspension upgrade components to come in. I went ahead and took pics.

Yes, I know it needs lowering and 1.5" of lowering is on the way from Australia - very sloooooowly. (I got Whiteline components cheap in a group Buy over on toyotanation.com).

Here are the 5Zigens...

These pics are available/viewable without the annoying logo things on my CarDomain page along with some other pics.
