Default Question with my Heater

I have 2002 ES300 and when I turn my heater to max it's making unusual loud noise as well as vibration. What could it be? It's kind of annoying when you have someone in your car with heater turned all the way up... embarassing... Anyone have any suggestions??

thanks,
Tae

It sounds like the belt for the A/C compressor is starting to lose its tightness. If you're not mechanically inclined, get it checked out at a Lexus/Toyota dealership or a certified auto A/C repair shop.

Default Blower Noise

No You most likely have a nest stuck inside your blower.... Very common.. Look under your glove box and pull the blower out... It looks like a big hampster wheel... Remove the wheel and youll probably find a big rats nest or just a big wad of *****. My Solara had this when my dad owned it because it sat, as well as my moms 4Runner.... Good luck bro!!!!

Not exactly 100% sure of what blocks it... But its under your glove box on the inside of the car... There is probably a plastic transfer duct you remove (just pull it out) and unpug the connector, remove the bolts and the blower will come out... Havent done mine so not exactly sure on the details, but all Toyotas should be similar... Hope this helps and good luck.....
