Is the rim rubbing the strut or the tire? If its the tire, try downsizing to a 235 or 225 width or add cheap 3-5mm spacers.

+1 with the spacers. I know in your post you said you didn't want them, but you need them with your rims and tires. I have 3mm on each rear for the same reason.

Probably, but you will need hubcentric rings. Also XXR are a brand to avoid. I hit a pot hole and the rim actually fractured. I have had wheels get bent before but this one almost cracked in half. Used OEM is the way to go.

Damn those ls430 rims look good on ES...

Im looking at some 17 inch is300 rims and need help. So i have Michelin tires for my es300 with i think 16 inch stock rims. If i get the is300 rims...theres no way they will fit on my current tires? Is that right?

Not a chance that 16 inch tires will fit 17 inch rims. You can play around with section width and aspect ratio to get the overall diameter, tread patch, stretch, etc. that you want but tire diameter is a no go. You can always justify it by putting winter tires on the stock rims and summer tires on the others.

winter tires in houston lol i might be the first person in history if i do that.

Will discount tire sell Michelins that will work with 17 in? This guy is selling the IS300 with tires so i guess i could just pop those on for a while at least. I need spacers right?

I didn't know where you were but it would be funny to have winter tires in Houston. In Dallas I could use them probably 10 days a year. Discount will put.on pretty much any tire you want in my experience. I don't think you will need spacers, if anything you may rub under extreme dips in the rear which would clear up with a thinner section width tire or a 5mm spacer. Got a picture or link to the wheels? Try to find out the year and we can find the specs on width and offset.

Check out LKQ, they are a huge company and can get almost anything.

Those wheels you linked are nice, good price too if the tread is ok. I think they should fit without spacers.

Whats Lkq? That junkyard website that checks all of them in your area?

That would be car-part.com. This site will search junkyards within a certain radius of you for listed parts.

LKQ is like the Wal mart of junkyards, everything is already pulled and sitting in warehouses all over the US. It's like a corporate junkyard, they supply a lot of body shops due to the way they are set up.

That is very subjective and you're going to have to search. I know th GS 17" 5 spoke looks good on almost anything. Personally, I really, really like the new IS ones, like the brand new ones. They almost look aftermarket and come in a shade of anthracite that makes me want em'.

Just Google image search year by year and find one you like. Don't forget toyota too.

Here is a handy dandy website to tell.you what can fit. Keep in mind the center bore, if it is smaller it won't fit, if it is bigger you will need hubcentric rings ($10-20). Scroll down to 5×114.3
