I have an alpine headunit now and was wondring if i stll need the stock amp under my passenger seat.
I have a 1992 es btw.

i left mine in there and its still being used even with the aftermarket deck, too lazy to do all the wiring. But you should bypass it for better results.

Very bad for sound quality to keep reamp the signal.
It doesn't hurt it to leave it there, but you need to bypass it.
Even the low end of medium quality HU's generally will have a cleaner output, that is abit stronger.

So if i were to take it out would i have to do wiring to my new headunit of any sort?
