Default Future Plans need help

w/ 40mm offset

w/ 35mm offset

w/ 42mm offset

Which would you rather choose? Or if you'd recommend something else, I'd like to keep it in the 17 or 18 range, more or less 18s than 17s.

A lot of work to keep them clean on the first wheel. Too many surfaces to wipe down. You'll know what I mean if you buy them. As for size, I like the 17". It will keep the suspension smoother feeling than 18's. Plus, your car will look lifted if you do not lower it with the !8" rim size. My pick would be the 3rd wheel. If you do not mind that fact, then go for it. Taste is a personal thing, not for the masses to assess.
As for myself, I just bought a set of GS 17" chrome 5 stars that I will have on my ES this spring, once the winter is gone.

quick chop for you guys, lemme know what you think...I don't think they look so bad, luckily its 125 a wheel which is cheap as all heck.

I'd get them in 17 with a 40 sidewall and prob get the eibach 2" lowering springs, with GR2 shocks, or just go with a JIC or Tein setup if possible. Lemme know what yall think!

I like the wheels in the photoshop.........don't like the photoshop job however...lol

Seriously though, I think those are definately the best of the bunch. Don't like those chrome ones at all, and the third wheel in the first post doesn't look "lexus" enough to me.....those 10 spoke one's aren't bad either, but it's tough to say without seeing a photoshop.

Front wheel isn't bad, the back wheel is horrid hahaha. How are your tanabe springs? The voxx wheels WILL be mine in the matter or a couple months. To my suprise I went to a local shop to find out pricing, and it's only like 900 for all 4 wheels, plus tires so it's alot cheaper than buying these wald wheels and stuff. I dont have such deep pockets ATM. My Dslr is weighin me down! hahaha 600 here 900 there, 100 here and there for stuff, it's nuts!

Send me some pictures of how low 1.8F and 1.0R looks in a pm dave...thanks

I'm away for the next couple weeks, and not on my primary comp.....there might be some pics of mine floating around in the members gallery under my name, but I'm not certain.....

As far as the springs go, I actually liked my Intrax springs more as far as the appearance goes, but they didn't work with my wheel offset, so they had to go. The Tanabe's are awesome handling wise though.....combine them, with the wider tire, and a rear sway bar and you have a COMPLETELY different car; it's incredible to be honest.

I think the majority of the pics in my gallery will be with the Intrax, which was 1.8 and 1.6.....but take a look if you've got a second. As long as you're dealing with an offset of 40+, Intrax should be fine. (only issue I had with them was their tendancy to sag)

Eh, not gona buy springs that eventually start to sag...not quality IMO. Im actually looking at some audio too. what do you think bout a refurbished kenwood ddx6019(6.96" touchscreen, navigation available but won't come with it) for 500? It's refurbished by kenwood and resealed ready to sell. Or go for a brand new one for about 100$ more? Also later on I'd get a navigation unit for around 500 also...or do you think it'd be wiser to go for a navigation unit all in 1 buy? I want a touchscreen real bad, but also will my stock 6 cd changed plug into it? It's in my glovebox and don't feel like gettin rid of it because it really is a nice thing to have.

Let me know if you'd suggest another type of double DIN

Cool

10K would be like driving with ricer halogen HIR bulbs. Just purple isntead of super gay baby blue.
I wouldn't go passed 6K on a non-show car. Unless you have control over the power delivered from the ballast and you can double their light output.

Some 55-60w ballasts with 10K bulbs, you could probably see...

DO you even have HID's?

I had 6ks before and the glares unbelievable, supposedly as you raise the kelvin, the glare goes down, hopefully this is correct. And a 55-60w bulb does NOT have enough light output unless you're on a side road by yourself with no lights around you.

Also 10k's and 12k's are used in most mercedes so define "ricer"
