Default thinking of trading in the 02 es300....

this tranny on this car has got me ready to just junk the friggin car. i feel like im driving a really nice looking go kart. I saw a 2003 Infiniti I35 the other day with 32,000 on it for 15,800. LOADED! black with gray interior. i owe like 13,000 on this es300 still but if i could get rid of it, get the I35, and keep the same insurance/car payment, im GONE! ive only had this car since June. i really wish i did some research. comments?

Cool

The upscale camry for the same thing upscale maxima? I'd hang on to the ES acouple of years & then do it. Way to much effort for buying essentually the same car from a different OEM, of the same generation to me. Now if it was a 2007 I35, or ES 350. I'd tell u to jump all over it!

The Maxima platform is basically our Camry platform... With abit more power per year (minus the new 2007's - Nissan has countered for 2008) Just with worse materials, and not assembled nearly as good. It'd be akin to shipping the parts to Ford to build your car. While the thing wouldn't have a major repair, the rest of the car would drive you nuts after afew years.
In my eyes... You're basically spending alot of time & money to buy your current ES 330, just with better looks. And the only real diferance between what you have & the I35 is the handling. Which a few hundred bucks in suspension parts would solve that.

But hey man, you don't have 2 please any of us. You do whichever way your ***** flops. You don't need our permission! LoL!
