How many miles will a ES330 go?
I am curious, if properly maintained how many miles do you think a ES330 will clock before it is time for the bone yard? Thanks

Well i have a 94 and so far i've got 136,000 on it, only had minor repairs, and still runnin strong. I've heard of some es300s reaching over 300,000 so not exactly sure how much longer they have, but i do know that they are pretty reliable cars if they go that far

Well that depends a lot on at what point you draw the line. I mean if the car is in rough shape already and at 150k miles it needs a new transmission and a serious tuneup at the cost of 4-5 grand... are you really going to want to pay almost as much as that car is probably worth at that point, at the risk of something else breaking not too long after?
I have found that most people who have cars last into the 1/4-million mile range are just people who don't mind paying good money to keep their car running well, or have learned how to work on the car themselves.

I believe the ES330 is just an ES300 with a boxed-out 3.0 to make 3.3, in which case the 3.0 is a pretty bulletproof engine, just like its Toyota roots have a history of

If it's properly maintained? Forever really.
I would say that above the factory service manual. Do oil flushes to keep the internal engine squeaky clean. Do transmission flushes atleast every 3 years (Or drain the pan when you change the oil). Add an auxillary transmissions cooler. Flush the coolant system atleast every 5 years on either the 5 or 10 year Toyota coolant. I don't give a damn what they say. It doesn't last that long, I've seen it in person LoL!!!!
Flush the powersteering fluid out every few years to make sure the rack seals stay happy.
And the major systems will be great indefinately.
There are 87-96 Camry's that have racked up 300,000 miles + on ToyotaNation like nothing.

My 92 ES300 has 250,000+ miles on it and is having major suspension and power steering issues. Other than that, its still running great andI drive it harder than I should for it having that many miles on it.

I have a 2005 Lexus ES330 and it currently has 264,000 miles. I am having my first challenge with a no start and not sure if its the battery or the starter. It's getting looked at tomorrow.

I checked on cars.com for ES300 and ES330 and sorted by highest mileage, and found total 2 of the ES300 over 305,000 miles. They look in great shape... Both inside and outside. Found total of 5 of the ES330 with over 280,000 miles and all vehicles looking great. These cars have to be some of the most reliable vehicles on the planet . Statistically, accidents will account for many high mileage cars in the wrecking yard. I just bought two ES330 recently, 2005 shale blue w/Navigation (52,000 miles) and 2006 Sonora Gold (101,000 miles). Really Excellent vehicles.

The car had no major issues with it. Still on its' original tranny, engine, AC System never had to be recharged in all those years. So reliable that I bought another ES300 with the insurance money.
Hope this one will last as long.

Wow that's Awesome. Your ES300 made it to 346k and sorry to hear about the accident.
Right now I am purchasing used low mileage Lexus ES for my college kids, rather than newer model vehicles because of Lexus reliability. The kids don't seem to mind when it's their first cars.
College kids need to focus on academics and not their auto repairs.
