How do you remove the entire foglight assembly on a 97'?
I have some plans for my foglights and I'll share with you guys once I find out how to remove the fogs on my car. I'm not trying to change the bulb, I want to take out the entire foglight. I've searched but I couldn't find an answer. Thanks guys.

I believe you need to go under the front bumper and get into the same area as if you were to change the fog light bulb. I'm sure if you look hard enough in there, you should see some mounting bolts for the actual fog light assembly from which you can unscrew and push out the fog light from the bumper.

If I could remember this is the way it comes off:
behind the front lower grill there should be a bolt (on the other side of the fog lamp), unbolt it and it should pop off

Just about all foglights and sidelights come out from the front (the direction you are looking at them) also they almost all have a slide into clip that helps hold them into place with usually one or two screws.

the easiest way i found out to take the fog lights out are by:
1) remove the corner light(it's just 1 screw attached to the headlamp but its hidden under the long plastic peice the covers the top of the headlights) and pull the corner light towards you.
2) reach your hand down the hole and you'll be able to access the back of the fog lamp. There is one screw that's towards the outside of the fog lamps, and one clip that is on the inner side of the fog lamp which needs to be pushed.
3) then push the foglight lamp out.
This is just another alternative for those who are lazy like me and don't want to jackup the car and remove plastic panels underneath. I do this very often to check up on my intake filter and it now takes me seconds to remove the fog lamps but that's because i only put the screws on the fogs lamps hand tight .
