Alternator Belt Replacement 94 ES300
#2
Change both the power steering & alt belts at the same time. Remember the timing belt & water pump are suppose to go @ 90,000 miles. May want to look back on your records on that.
AFA the acessory belts. Take the passanger wheel off & open the access hatch. Loosen the 12mm bolt that keeps the alternator held in place & it'll allow it to swing & change the tension on the belt.
Loosen the 14mm bolt/nut on the powersteering pump bracket that allows it to do the same.
Pull the belts off, put tension back on both the belts. (Just pull as hard as practical.) Put the access hatch & wheel back on.
