s2000 antenna mod. my power antenna was broken so i just replaced it. I cant compare the reception bcuz i got the car with a broken antenna. but i would say reception is decent.

I believe you can only do that with 95-96 taillights.
The 92-94 taillights you cannot clear the center because there's a red reflector.
