I was using regular in my ES too but I just switched to premium and I've noticed a pretty big increase in gas milage.

well I have a quarter tank left till E and I'm 315 miles right now. I used to get like 325miles to the tank. I'll let you know the final after I finish burning off the rest. Besides gas prices are going down so I can afford the premium now.

I can usually get 325mi range in mixed driving. Just have to drive with ECT in normal though, so its not difficult to achieve decent fuel econ considering the tranny is programmed for such a task.

i own an 95 es300. I only have been using premium gas and i feel that it is worth it. It only comes out to be a couple dollars more each time. I figured when my parents gave it to me since it had 155000 miles that i would do what the manual says, and it recomends 93 octane so thats what ive but in. i am averaging about 22miles per gallon. And performance is great especially with the etc power button on.

89 octane from Chevron and only Chevron. I put in 91 when I can afford it.

I've had the pleasure of using both. I have to say that 91 octane is much better. Off the line is faster and pick up at high speeds are better as well. However If that doesn't really matter to you then 89 or 87 is ok. Always do mpg test on my car and I'm not sure but this is what I got. Before changing both O2 sensors and running on 87 I would get about 340-360 miles but tank. After changing both O2 sensors, using, fully synthetic oil, and running on 91 octane I got a little over 380 miles when the gas light came on.

I have a 99. Always use regular 87. I get anywhere from 370-380 miles /tank.
I use Mobil-1. Manual recommends 87 or higher.

I use 87 all the time. How are you guys getting 300+ miles per tank?! I'm lucky if I can reach 275 miles per tank. Btw, I use Mobile 1 and just changed the air filter too.

No it is not the flex fuel, that I think is mostly ethanol this is a 10% ethanol blend prevelent in the midwest. And no ping from it at all.
