lip spoiler on es300
does anyone have a lip spoiler on their ES? I am debating whether I want to put one on my lexus. Also, does anyone know of any pictures of an ES with a lip spoiler?

Depends on what kid of lip.. Front bumper "lip spoiler", rear trunk lip spoiler (like BMW M3 Style).. Have an M3 style lip spoiler on my 93 ES.. looks alright... got it off ebay for like $45 shipped.. just sticks on with double sided tape, but you cant tell.. dont have any pictures on this computer cause im on vacation, but if this is what your talking about ill send pics when i get back.

You'll have to PM 3rdelement since this is his car, but if I remember correctly, he got the lip spoiler (which is actually the factory lip spoiler for the BMW M3) from Ebay.

There pretty cheap on e-bay, can pick one up for bout $50. just watch out, some are from over seas, theres not any for the ES300 in the US, but they're universal fit, so just get one 52" i believe is the width of the trunk. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-99...QQcmdZViewItem
that one has ended but im sure he has more, even looks alright with the fake carbon fiber until you can get it painted, but if you pick one up from this guy you might be able to get it for around $30 shipped.. just a thought..

They just apply to your trunk with tape, and they're bendable..

p.s. I e-mailed the guy with the cheaper one, and its actually only 51", dont know if it'd look bad, but might not be an exact fit. Think mine is only a 51" though, cause its got a little bit left on each side.

hey, thats my car! nah, i love it. and its the single most subtle mod that ive done. but its also the one i receive the most compliments on. make sure to budget in color matching paint. i got it done for somewhere around $80 at a porcha restoration shop(i wanted it perfect) and make sure to clean the area with rubbing alcohol before mounting it.

How well does it stays on with that double-sided tape? How about going through a carwash? I will have to measure my ES350 trunk which probably more narrow than ES330/300, but I hope it will fit. I absolutely hate factory ES350 lip spoiler, and think this one will fit nicely. As you can see below, this M3-style lip spoiler will complement it nicely

Just go to ebay motors, search M3 Spoiler.. or lip spoiler.. and then most the auction titles will say its for a certain car, but i'll show a size of the spoiler and there almost all sizes avaible.. just look around, alot of them are from Tawain, which with shipping will cost the same as one in the states.. never had a problem with mine not sticking, its slightly flexable to bend around the trunk, but you cant cut it, cause the ends go down, dont know how to explain, but get one thats the right size..
