Finally got my car back from the shop, still have a major problem!
My ES was in the shop for a week for a transmission rebuild when the car couldn't shift out of 1st at all. It was skipping 1st to 3rd but then it stop shifting altogether so I had to get it towed to a tranny shop.
Today, I got the car back and it was fine until i came out and parked it. I realized it couldn't go into reverse! I would shift into R and it would be like I was in neutral. I'm definately bringing it back tomorrow because this is BS. Had to park it on the curb.
Anyone have any idea why it would do this?

You started by dropping the #2 shift solenoid, which is a minor affair. Now it's slipping. Which would be low fluid, old fluid, or worn clutches.
Your fluid level is low. Do not move the car an inch under it's own power until you get the transmission fluid correct.
If the fluid is correct, then check that the T/V cable is adjusted correctly.
If THAT is OK, then you've burned the clutches out by driving it while it's slipping. (Your bad - unless they incorrectly filled it.)
Flush your fluid every other year from now on.

I'll check the fluid in the morning. The last thing sounds bad because I did drive it home today. The invoice said the tranny fluid was flushed and filled so they might have messed up. They signed a warranty so it should be covered. I just want my car back. :/ Thanks Pheonix, you're always a big help.
