I own a 2005 Lexus ES 330 and would like to purchase a bike rack to carry two road bicycles. However, according to my local bike shop there is no bike rack made that will fit my car. Has anyone experienced this and are there any suggestions to solving my bike carrying problem?

You may want to PM steviej. He has an '02 ES and has a rack installed on the roof which carries a small canoe. I have also seen a couple ES's around here with attachments outside the trunk lid which carries bicycles.

Here is a close-up.
The bars are 52", but I forget with the number of the Q tower is. If you need it, I can look it up in my files. It is very secure when attached properly. Let me know if you need anymore help or pictures.
