Hmmmmmmm, let me think...Um, no. The last time I checked, the 300M looked nothing like the new ES. Maybe that burnished gold color that is so popular on 300Ms is clouding your perception. A person would have to have a horrid combination of cataracts and glaucoma to mistake the new ES for anything other than a Lexus (or perhaps a E-Class or Avalon due to the rear lights).

I like the front and back, but damn it looks too much like a CAMRY SOLARA from the side. I still am very dissappointed in the same engine / power for 2002. Maybe they will change it in 2003 with all the complaints they are receiving.

Maybe the 2002 will grow on all of us, but the fact remains, that it only has 210 horsepower, and this is a horsepower hungry world we live in.

Needs more power always!

It's a shame they did not increase the horsepower. That excuse that they want to emphasize luxury and not performance is really a lame one!!!. More horsepower = more effortless passing, more effortless hill climbing, better acceleration etc. etc. WHICH IN TURN = MORE LUXURY !!!!!

While 0-60 time has suffered, I believe 1/4 mile time has improved. I think it is now 16.10 seconds...
