A++ mod, very well recommended, done this to a few of my cars, thanks for the reminder,
would mark the stock thread just in case if u want to return to normal

this mod doesn't do much.
it simply makes the throttle cable shorter so your foot doesn't have to go in as deep for WOT.

Well... I wouldn't say that. The A541E transmission is not fully electronic controlled so the correct line pressure in the trans still depends on the correct adjustment of the throttle cable. Needless to say that a correct line pressure is a necessary (but not sufficient) condition for a "happy shifting".

This mod took literally 30 seconds to do, it works and I can feel the difference!!!
Driving down to Santa Cruz tomorrow. Looking forward to the sweet shifting on 17. xD

Edit:
Drive was successful! Shifting is super smooth and i can feel the power!! Works great

For those of us with a 2000 or 2001, you can definitely shorten the throttle cable (make it tighter). Mine was way too loose, and now the response is nearly immediate.
