1 inch drop is nothing, it shouldn't rub at all.

no,u dont understand, u have a 1997. with the 2nd gen's 18 inches is the biggest you can get and your only saposed top get up to like 7.5, but these are X8 so im just worried they are gonig to be to wide. witth a 1996 normal 18 inch rims with a 1 inch drop bottoms out the car, lol. lowest you can go without rubbing. Thats why i included my year for the car

If it rubs, take it to a shop and have them roll it with an eastwood fender roller, shouldn't be over 60-120 for all 4 wheels(probably only need to do the back if anything.

I like 1 the best but I agree with 1SICKLEX about the nature of the ES. 2 is most suited for the ES.

I agree, the 2nd set will look better on the ES, but do they make it in silver?

that photoshop pic has 19's with a 2 inch drop(maybe a little more in front). Mine dont look that big and i have that same year es as that pic, same wheels(photoshoped on) and same drop as that owner(he has 18 sc 430 wheels and an intrax drop of 1.6"). I should have my ksport coilovers in a couple weeks then my wheels will look that big and have that little fender gap up front.

You know guys...this has been one BUSY thread. The great thing about Motegi rims is that they are decent quality, in my opinion atleast, and reasonably priced.
