I have a 03 ES without navigation. Is it possible to buy the navigation unit and install it?LIke a swap. Anyone know??? How much work is required?

For the factory NAV, I imagine at least $2K after all is said and done. Not financially worth it IMO. Better off getting an aftermarket unit or GPS.

I can get it for less but for the new es its a whole big piece that connects with the vents. Cant just get an aftermarket one. I rather stick with the original.

The Lexus Corp. claims that if your car was not originally equipped with Nav that you can't retrofit a factory Nav unit. The wiring harnesses are different, and so is the dashboard, to mention a few. I feel it could be done, but the expense would not be worth it.
As said before, you'd be much better off getting an aftermarket GPS unit.

No. The Lexus Navigation System is only installed in Lexus vehicles by the factory. The Navigation System installed in Lexus vehicles at the factory is not available for purchase as an after-market dealer-installed option.
