I just recently installed the same cd player in my car with the same harness that you have used, but everytime i turn on the headunit im getting alot of noise/static, i dont hear it at high volumes, only low... do you know what the problem is or what i have to do to fix it? thanks

so am i correct in assuming that using the stock 8 cut out (even w/ a free air sub ) is gonna sound like crap. i guess i can understand how one 8 with all the space isnt gonna sound fluid. anyone got any suggestions. i have a soundstream ref. 12 in a ported 4ft cubic box ( of whch i really dont want to use due to size ) but would like to build maybe a baffle wall and use the stock 8 port for a radiator/port into the cabin of the car. BTW, any ideas of where to mount the two HEAVY alpine amps as well. 1-4 channel and 1 mono sub amp. any recommendations on what brand to rplc the stock 6.5 in the doors (front and rear) with? almost forgot.......97 es300

If your going to replace the 6.5's in the front I'd say go with either Infinity (Kappa) or MB Quart (Q-Line series). I have both infinity and MB Quart in my '94 es with an infinity 4-ch. amp, sounds amazingly clear and realllllllly loud lol. all i need now is to install my 2 12" (MB Quart Premium) subs and the infinity mono amp (1200 watts rms) . might take a while tho cuz i need to get a new high output alternator, so much $$$$. my current one isnt holding out, at high volumes the lights dim when the bass hits lol. but maybe ill just wait awhile till i get my IS350 hopefully this summer and throw the subs in there .

hey,
where did you mount your ground wire to??? It looks like you grounded it to the metal part near the back of the seat??? Is that metal??? And why do you have a multiple amp kit??? Are you still using the stock amp???
