Default Cargo Net Useless Option

Do you use your cargo net? I think this is the useless option for Lexus to make extra bucks. Other than in the way of getting things in or out of th trunk, I can't seem to find it to be useful.

True!
The options package on my '03ES included that wonderful net, which I immediately put in the corner of the trunk and never used. From what I've heard, some people like it when they go to the Supermarket to keep the bags upright......but not me!

You got that right (even though I don't think the pre-'02 ES has a cargo net option). I usually store my groceries on the rear seating areas (heavier stuff on the floor, lighter and vulnerable stuff on the seats with the armrest laid down to prevent groceries from shifting). Just like what my mother taught me!

i use my after market cargo net all the time, my wife buys a lot of grocceries, it's for holding multiple bags together, preventing apples and oranges running away...etc

Talking

i dont use the cargo net much
but then i got one of those low plastic bins and put my stuff in there
sure the bin itself shifts, but its easier to reach for the bin and then try to find individual oranges all the way in the back of the trunk

They should design cargo net a little different instead a cargo bag in the trunk openiong. They could make it cover the whole trunk. So just lift it and put stuffs in there then put the net down to cover them in this case apple or oranges won't run all over the trunk.
