you can paint the calipers (only need to hit the areas that you can see with you eye while looking at the wheel form the outside). You don't need to disassemble them.
you can paint the rotor hats. DO NOT paint the area where the pads make contact or the vertical surface where the back of the wheel makes contact.
Here is a before:

all four calipers and selected parts of the rotors took a weekend and 2 kits of G2 caliper paint from Tire Rack. If I had put the car up on four jack stands I could have done all four in 24 hours with 1 kit.
I chose to split it to 2 and 2. Also, the kits says that you can put the wheels back on in 2 hours but suggest not driving on it for 24 hours to make sure the paint sets up hard. I chose not to put the wheels back on for 24 hours after painting each set.
It was very easy.

Where could someone paint a rotor that would cause harm. If paint got on the surface where the pads make contact it would come off. If paint got on the section between the hub and wear surface, it won't be in the way of anything. Calipers do all the work. People paint them all the time. Rotors are made of iron. How can paint hurt them? Please explain more clearly. Thanks.

Just my $.02 I wouldn't even consider painting my rotors or tell someone else to do it

Still, a majority of others recommend to not paint the rotors for obvious safety reasons. Getting rust on the circular surface of the rotors is normal on all cars, so no need to worry about resolving the nuisance (unless your rotors become warped or scored, then comes time for replacement).

But I do agree with you on buying new rotors. They are fairly cheap. The only thing I would paint is the calipers, as these do not wear as fast as the rotors and will be one the car longer.

Go with the 5 spokes bro. I'm in that same dilema myself but I'm just getting started trying to find what I want to put on mine.
