So I have this rattle that comes from my exhaust. Today I went in and had the repairs quoted at $543. Everything from the cat converter back has to be replaced (that is including the cat). The part prices are whats expensive, labor is only $27. Does anyone know a better route I can go? there is only one hole in between the cat and the exhaust pipes that follow leading to the muffler. Eventually its all going to be replaced either way, I'm at 120,000 miles. Anyone have a better solution? Thanks in advance.

these are lexus replacement parts not aftermarket. Thanks for the parts website but the prices are insanely high. They want near $500 for the cat converter alone. Does anyone think that I should go performance while I'm replacing the whole exhaust system. I figure it can't be much more expensive if at all.

the price quote I recieved was from cole muffler. They want $130 for the cat, I havnt found it cheaper anywhere.
